How did you get into design?
On accident. I clumsily fell into the design world while trying to figure out my major in college. I thought I was going to be an engineer, I ended up studying business but my heart was where art and design lived. I took a few classes and I was hooked. I wasn't sure if Iw I was any good or if I was going to be able to make a living at it but it was a risk I was eager to take.
Favorite book or current read and why?
Children of Blood & Bone. I've always loved fantasy/ sci-fi and my inner child
Tell us a surprising fact about you?
I use to sing in the Oakland Youth Chorus with Goapele, she's a singer-songwriter
How do you over come a creative block?
I dance, take a deep breath and then dive into the deep end.
